Jesus Fuego 777 Corojo Robusto

This Gem by J Fuego starts off like a mild Honduran with some buttery and nutty notes, though not as much as in say a nice Connecticut wrapper (like a Fonseca or Gispert).

By the end of the first third, it hits me...this tastes exactly like a Rocky Patel Edge Corojo with a little more smoothness and a refined finish.  I've always been a fan of the Edge (With one exception:  the Missile Corojo) and feel this smoke slightly outdid it with the exact same flavor profile.

For that reason, and the fact that I nubbed it without bitterness allows an appointed score of 8 out of 10.  Oh, plus the price point at 4.75 a piece gives it a nudge upward! I'm really looking forward to the Origen by J Fuego, and will be sure to post as soon as I grab one.
