Well, it seems the great folks at Cuban Crafters in Miami's own Little Havana have proven themselves! I bought an older version of this cutter (when visiting Miami, my old hometown, actually) with gold screws that eventually came loose and were lost. True to their lifetime warranty, I mailed off the compromised cutter, albeit still insanely sharp (never ruining a cigar yet), and they promptly sent a replacement within 2 weeks! This newer version has a more machined feel to the stainless, keeping the individual components feeling more like one solid weapon. It also has improved rivets in place of the screws that came loose last time around, and still cuts like a razor.
Many thanks to the fine guys at Cuban Crafters...they've proven true to their word on the lifetime warranty. At $14 retail, this instrument is worth its weight in gold as a primary or backup cutter.
