CAO Brazilia Box Press 5x55

  • extreme barnyard (manure on the wrapper, almost like a bad body odor)
  • prelight draw is very clean and not spicy or tongue numbing as one would think
  • gorgeous presentation on the wrapper and band application, look and feel in the hand are nice, heavy weight to the stick
  • I'm pairing this smoke with an Italian Peroni beer poured in a wine glass
  • the smell from the room is almost sulfur like (yes like egg or beer fart from afar!)
  • the draw is very nice and clouds of voluminous smoke bellow forth if prepulled a few times before the focused slow draw
  • after several puffs in there is a chocolaty sensation
  • when prepulled lightly, there is a very nice airiness and young tobacco scent from the sinuses-typical CAO
  • finish is a little weak, almost pale or non-existent at this stage of the smoke
  • one could call this one dimensional
  • toward the end there's a very strong bitterness on the swallow after a medium pull
  • the aroma on the retrohale is exceptional, very enjoyable per my preference

can't quite nub this one, but will smoke again, above par for a night where there is a drink in hand, this gar gets a 7 out of 10.

  1. Nice review. Kudos for working "beer farts" into the text.
